You can read, print, and share both story editions without signing up.

If you join the parent list

We save your email address, the date you signed up, and the version of the consent text you accepted. We use the list to contact adult parents and caregivers about new Lightkeepers stories and this pilot. Signing up is free and does not start a paid subscription.

We don’t ask for children’s names, birthdays, email addresses, or reading records. Please use an adult’s email address.

Learning whether this is useful

We count page visits, visits through family share links, starts of each edition, arrivals at the last story page, edition switches, share actions, and answers to the optional family question. These are daily totals, not individual reading profiles. Reaching the last page does not tell us whether someone read the whole book.

We don’t use advertising trackers or tracking cookies. Hosting providers process ordinary request data to operate the site. To limit form abuse, the site temporarily stores a hashed request-address value in ten-minute windows, without saving the raw address in our database. Expired limits are removed on subsequent form or measurement requests.

Storage and access

The pilot runs on OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. The project owner can access the signup list and aggregate counts. Email addresses are not displayed publicly, sold, or shared with advertisers.

Leave the list

Remove your email here at any time. This deletes the address from the active pilot list. Future story emails will also include a way to leave. Hosting backups and security logs may follow the providers’ retention schedules.

This pilot currently collects signups. It does not send an automatic welcome email.
